THE RULES FOR BEING AN ADULT HUMAN
(and how to better enjoy the experience)

YOU WILL RECEIVE A BODY-

You may like it or hate it but it will however, be all yours for the entire period this time around...
Try to treat it well and love it for what it is...

Then others will notice and love it too.

YOU WILL LEARN LESSONS-

You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons.

You may not like the lessons or think them irrelevant or stupid, it's up to you to use them and learn from them or disregard them.

(Just don't gripe and whine about having to be taught the same lesson over and over again)

THERE ARE NO MISTAKES, ONLY LESSONS-

Growth is a process of trial and error: experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works".

A LESSON IS REPEATED UNTIL LEARNED

A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.

When you have learned it, you can then go to the next lesson.




LEARNING LESSONS DOES NOT END-
EVER!!

There is no part of life that does not contain it's lesson. If you are alive, there are always new lessons to be learned.

"THERE" IS NO BETTER THAN "HERE"

When your "there" has become a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that will, again, look better than "here."

OTHERS ARE MERELY MIRRORS OF YOU

You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate in yourself, or that frustrates you.

(Be brutally honest...most times something you complain about in others is often something you bury or try to overcome in yourself)

WHAT YOU MAKE OF YOUR LIFE IS UP TO YOU

You have all the tools and resources you need, what you do with them is up to you.

The choice is yours.

Every day is an opportunity...what you make of it is up to you and how you handle it...well or badly.

YOUR ANSWERS LIE INSIDE YOU

The answers to life's questions lie inside you.
All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

That still small voice does live within all of us,
it requires taking the time to be quiet and listen, even if it's not saying what you think it should or what you want to hear.

Listen anyway.

It is true that growing old is mandatory...growing up is optional and up to you as to how you handle it. Growing older in years does NOT mean that you ever have to lose your youthful excitement for life and all around you.

DON'T choose to grow old before your time..and it IS a choice we make. Maturity and wisdom comes with age (if we're smart and learn)...BUT wonderment can be kept for life no matter what your age. Find the humor, irony or good in every situation. There is some, even if it's not immediately evident.

That is what keeps you vital, sexy and alive...and irresistible. *wink*
