It's a Dysfunctional Day in the Neighborhood..Won't You Be My Whacko? - August 05, 2008

There are some days I just have to shake my head at the VERY thin veneer of people who think they talk a good game, then show their true colors. I received this first message on July 31st. (from a person btw, that has no picture or personal information on his profile and whose blog consists of a "final" goodbye to his list on March 8th and the rest of the prior entries seem ridiculously centered around random references to food) Of COURSE, he took his pictures down because he was getting bombarded by 100 messages a day. (Aren't we all??? *LOL*)

Obviously I didn't jump through his hoop quickly enough to suit his tastes or fawn all over him stroking his ummmm...ego. Excuse me, I have a life, 3 kids, 2 careers and 1 Yankee that I have to spend time shamelessly seducing. At times I'm a bit busy!! It's all about priorities you know!



Truthfully, in the interest of full disclosure, I had no intention of answering his first message. Between browsing his profile, the presumption of his message AND being called "buddy" and "pal", I will confess that I was completely uninterested in any further communications. I'm at the point in life that if something is a clear waste of time, I don't find the need to dilly dally with stupidity from total strangers.



Now, if someone I don't know is respectful and has some sign of common sense or manners when they first meet me...I'll be polite or even get to know you as a friend. I love meeting people that have diverse views or sense of humor.



Okay, so today..when I changed my blast, he/she/it/whatever was obviously keyed into my page. I received this lovely piece of communication. I don't think it had the desired result...since #1, I didn't remember who they were...and #2, they obviously think that an anonymous stranger's opinion matters to me. *LOL*
